She takes a job, and, cutting to the chase, her boss sexually harasses her even as she her financial success is\u00a0 good for the company. His escalating, menacing sexual harassment creates a crisis for her.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>&#8220;Slow Burning &#8211; builds its tension so subtly you don\u2019t realize you\u2019ve been holding your breath&#8221; &#8211; Elizabeth Kerr, Hollywood Reporter.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Holding our breaths? Uh oh!<\/p>\n<hr align=\"center\" noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"2\" width=\"60%\" \/>\n<p>Director Laviad says about the time she started identifying herself as a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Feminism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">feminist<\/a>, she began directing films in San Francisco in the 1980s. Her 10 documentary and narrative films look at complex social and political issues from the point of view of female protagonists, she says in a statement. \u201cMaking films from the point of view of women is a way to remind us that women&#8217;s ways of understanding and acting in the world matter, and are worth showing \u2013 and this theme is recurrent in all my work.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Review coming soon.<\/h2>\n<p><em>Gregg W.
