Ho Hum Says This <i><b>WORD<\/b><\/i> Writer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By\u00a0Emily Chiriboga, May 21\u00a02016<\/p>\n<p>A few years ago to celebrate Super Bowl Sunday, my sister and I started a tradition to skip\u00a0the game and watch\u00a0the half time show. This year we dined on takeout from the local\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.chilis.com\/EN\/Pages\/home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chili\u2019s<\/a>. To\u00a0kill time <a href=\"http:\/\/hunterword.com\/index.php\/beyonce-formation-blacklivesmatter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">until Beyonce appeared<\/a>, we watched <a href=\"http:\/\/www.trutv.com\/shows\/impractical-jokers\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Impractical Jokers<\/a>, a hidden camera show that stars four friends who try to embarrass each other through multiple challenges.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2300\" src=\"http:\/\/hunterword.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/pracjoke.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 686px) 100vw, 686px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/hunterword.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/pracjoke.jpg 686w, http:\/\/hunterword.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/pracjoke-300x171.jpg 300w\" alt=\"pracjoke\" width=\"686\" height=\"391\" \/><\/center>I am sure we were not the only ones who did not watch the game, which, the New York Times reported, attracted\u00a0111.9 million views, the third largest audience since the\u00a0sports extravaganza was first played in 1967. \u00a0Robert Pressman, a 21-year-old auto mechanic and student who attends Delaware Community College, said he was too busy entertaining a family friend\u2019s son who \u201chates most things American,\u201d including football.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pressman said that he watched \u201cless than one quarter of the game.\u201d He did however, witness <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nfl.com\/videos\/nfl-super-bowl\/0ap3000000634354\/Cam-Newton-shows-his-emotions-on-the-sideline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cam Newton<\/a>\u00a0falling down on the sideline.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/hunterword.campusave.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WORD Classifieds<\/a><\/strong><\/center>Mattias Van-der swaagh, who hasn&#8217;t declared a major, only caught the second half of the game. He said that he was upset that he missed the opening fumble. Since his two favorite teams, the Giants and the Packers weren\u2019t in the Super Bowl, he didn\u2019t really care who won. \u201cI would be okay with either team winning. The Panthers because they\u2019re the underdog and The Bronco\u2019s because it would be a good send off for Peyton Manning\u201d said Van\u00adder Swaagh.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Panther\u2019s made their second appearance in this years Super Bowl while the Bronco\u2019s played their eighth Super Bowl.
