The 2024 Tribeca Festival, presented by OKX, announced its third annual Music Lounge at Baby\u2019s All Right in Brooklyn, featuring four days and nights of exclusive performances, special guest appearances, and more. The Music Lounge is open to the public from June 6-9 and offers Tribeca Festival attendees the opportunity to intimately experience the music celebrated in a selection of this year\u2019s films.<\/p>\n
The 2024 Tribeca Music Lounge includes a rare performance by pop hitmaker Linda Perry,<\/strong> sharing the stage with Stella Rose<\/strong> following the world premiere of the documentary Linda Perry: Let It Die Here<\/em>; the first-ever tribute to Genesis P-Orridge with members of Psychic TV,<\/strong> following the world premiere of S\/He Is Still Her\/e – The Official Genesis P-Orridge Doc<\/em>; and an intimate set by Kneecap<\/strong>, the Irish language rapping trio who will be celebrating the New York premiere of their self-titled spotlight narrative film. Rounding out the weekend will be audiovisual performances by Actress<\/strong>, the stage name taken by British electronic artist Darren Cunningham, and Lower East Side multi-instrumentalist and Onyx Collective founder Isaiah Barr, <\/strong>who will present his project \u201cTHE RED ZONE.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis year\u2019s music films showcase a wide variety of artists and genres, and we sought to bring diversity to our Music Lounge through unique events,\u201d said Tribeca Curator of Music Programming Vincent Cassous. <\/strong>\u00a0\u201cThere is something for every music fan on our lineup, from pop to experimental.\u201d<\/p>\n Previously announced music programming at Tribeca Festival 2024 includes documentaries Liza: A Truly Terrific Absolutely True Story<\/em> with Liza Minnelli<\/strong>; Satisfied<\/em> about Ren\u00e9e Elise Goldsberry<\/strong>; Avicii – I’m Tim<\/em> with Tim \u201cAvicii\u201d Bergling, Chris Martin <\/strong>and David Guetta; <\/strong>Desire: The Carl Craig Story<\/em> with Carl Craig; <\/strong>and the world premiere of Paramount+\u2019s Melissa Etheridge: I\u2019m Not Broken with<\/em> Melissa Etheridge. <\/strong>The Storytellers Series, presented by City National Bank and Starbucks, features Michael Stipe<\/strong> and Jon Batiste<\/strong> in conversation celebrating Nat King Cole, <\/strong>while this year\u2019s reunions and retrospectives, presented by City National Bank, as well as the 40th anniversary of Beat Street,<\/em> with an introduction by Nas<\/strong>.
