Day 2 of the 2025 Tribeca Festival featured stars from around the world, all eager to celebrate film and entertainment. The Beacon Theatre welcomed Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Casino. The event included a special screening and an illuminating conversation moderated by W. Kamau Bell. Tribeca Festival Co-Founder and CEO Jane Rosenthal also attended.
Musicians Dave Gahan and Martin Gore of legendary synthpop band Depeche Mode greeted an enthusiastic crowd at the OKX Theater at BMCC for a presentation of their documentary Depeche Mode: M. The music theme continued when Mikey Craig and Roy Hay of Culture Club arrived for the screening of Boy George & Culture Club, along with executive producer Ben Silverman.
Jim Gaffigan took the stage at The Indeed Theater at Spring Studios for a humorous Storytellers conversation with Michael Ian Black. Hayley Williams made a special appearance at the SVA Theatre for the debut of Turnstile’s visual album, Never Enough, after which Steve Zahn and daughter Audrey Zahn, Mackenzie Ziegler, and more convened for the world premiere of the film She Dances. Later in the day, the venue welcomed folk-rock singer and activist Natalie Merchant for the screening of the documentary Kerouac’s World: The Beat of a Generation.
Meanwhile, Darren Aronofsky attended a showing at Village East by Angelika of nature documentary Underland, which he produced, and AMC Theaters hosted the world premieres of TV series Outrageous and narrative film Happy Birthday.
