As a competitive ballroom dancer, I want to inspire my students to improve, work hard and have the most fun when they’re dancing – especially during the Pandemic. With the Coronavirus stalking them, their families, friends and communities, these have been difficult if not excruciating times for kids. I want them to learn that dance can make them feel inspired and motivated and that the more they improve now, the better they’ll feel when they’re return to the competitive dance floor or are stepping out on a dance floor for the first time.
Dance can teach them to socialize, meet new people and work together harmoniously and physically and learn new things. Note: Students and staff at Basic Ballroom Dance Studio engage in social distancing and the wearing of masks.
