Enriquez, 27, a music major, who lives in the Bronx, said that he was supposed to graduate two years ago, but personal reasons delayed his graduation. He is an international student from the Philippines.
Interviewed on the benches on the fourth floor of the North Building and wearing black hat, pea coat, beige jeans and oxford shoes, he said that his job requires him to set up equipment for live performances on every Saturday during the semester, and that he could make it a full time job once he graduates.
He was confident, he said, that he could have a career in music, and he did not want to settle in one job. He could still do live audio while working on other music jobs. He liked teaching and he wanted to be an instructor in audio or in an elementary school, he said. He also wanted to start his own music business one day as a producer especially for film music. There would be opportunities for his career if he was an American citizen, he said.
Ali, 24, a psychology major who lives in Flushing, Queens, said he was ready for graduation. Interviewed on the fourth floor of the Hunter library on May 5, and wearing button down shirt, jeans and dress shoes, he said that he would enroll in Queens College for psychology and early develop mental research studies for graduate studies after graduation.
He said that he worked three jobs: Academic tutor, soccer coach and dance teacher in high school. And he said he believed all his jobs were relevant to his major.
Shepard, 21, a computer science major http://www.hunter.cuny.edu/csci/for-students/majoring-in-computer-science who lives in Upper East Manhattan, was interviewed on the fourth floor of the Hunter library on May 5th. He said that finding a job relevant to his major would not be hard for him. On the day of the interview, he wore black jacket, grey pants and Converse shoes.

He said his ambition was to work in his field in a large company, like Google, Facebook and YouTube. He said that he wanted to work in the development of mobile apps, and he had an internship in the IT department of an insurance company every summer since high school which helped him built up networks and enhanced his skills in computer. He worked part time as a cashier in TJ Maxx.
Sulficio Delacruz, an accounting major, who lives in Jackson Heights, Queens, said accounting was a little boring sometimes, but this major was good for finding a job. Interviewed in the West Building cafeteria on May 3rd, and wearing blue shirts, jeans and boots. He said that he worked as a part time assistant in general accounting department of a private construction company.
He said that he planned to master skills while working in the private construction company and later he wants to manage his own construction company.
A media major who lives in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, Matthew Sciotto, 24, said he worried about finding a job in media after graduation. Interviewed on the fifth floor of the North Building, May 5th, and wearing a baseball hat, hoodie, sweat pants and Nike shoes, he said he planned to graduate this semester, and that he had not started sending out resumes.
He wanted to do public relations in sports business for major sports teams in New York City. He said he was a bartender during the weekend and would continue this job. He wanted to move to downtown Brooklyn and have his own place as soon as possible rather than stay with his parents in his neighborhood, he said.
