Moderator CHERYL L. DAVIS , Writers’ Guild Award recipient and Daytime Emmy Nominee, will moderate the Monsters talkback. She is currently writing for Law & Order: SVU. Other awards and honors: Ed Kleban Award , Jonathan Larson Performing Arts Foundation Award , seven Audelco Awards, 2017 National Black Theatre Festivals; Francesca Primus Prize finalist. She is a practicing attorney in Manhattan and is the General Counsel for the Authors Guild.

ACTOR JIM CHU, like millions before him, fell off the face of the earth when he moved out of the East Village and had a kid. He can be found cleaning out the garage and mumbling to himself when not on social media losing followers. @jim_chu – Facebook.

ACTOR JENNIFER BETIT YEN can be seen in New Amsterdam (NBC), Nora from Queens (COMEDY CENTRAL), Search Party (TBS), Royal Pains (USA), Film Lab Presents, The Beacon Street Girls, and many more. CLAUDIA NGUYEN is excited to join the table read for Monsters Among Us. Her recent credits include Linh from Brackish at The Wayward Artist and Meghan from End Titus VDM. In her free time, she likes to watch TV shows and movies with her family.

JOE TEX is regularly punished on stage performing in the hit comedy, BATSU! (NYC, Chicago, London), an immersive Batsu-game experience. His enthusiasm for collaborating with Film Lab continues to grow, following his previous role as Bobby Simons in the pilot ‘Mirror Mirror’ and his co-starring appearances in ‘SOS,’ a series of comedic shorts. Beyond his creative endeavors, Joe Tex is a Partner and the Director of Operations at the acclaimed comedy company Face Off Unlimited. He shares his life on Long Island’s picturesque south shore with his beautiful wife, Linda, and their son, Henry. Not bad, huh? @JoeTexOnline

DORI ROSE LEVIT is a Meisner trained actress based in NYC. A few theatre credits include: Off-Broadway: Laura in The Glass Menagerie, Antigone in Antigone. Off-Off Broadway: Carolyn Bryant/Sidney Carlton in Shades of Truth’s The Lynching of Emmett Till, and Claire in Eve Lederman’s To Life Directed by Frank Calo. DEBORAH KUHN is an actor, writer, and producer. Deborah can be seen in LAW & ORDER: SVU (NBC). Winner Best Actress at New York City International Film Festival and Best Supporting Actress at International Filmmakers Berlin. Deborah wrote, produced, and starred in MONARCH BUTTERFLY, which has been accepted to several film festivals worldwide. MATTHEW SCHWARTZ is a native New Yorker, avid traveler, fitness enthusiast and animal rights campaigner. Eight years ago, he transitioned to the nonprofit sector after a long-standing job in the business world. Currently, he establishes impact driven partnerships for Idealist.org. Outside of his day job, he is a volunteer activist for several animal welfare and animal rights issues and organizations including PETA, TheirTurn.net, NYClass, Voters for Animal Rights (VFAR.org) and others. He is also the co-founder of the granola manufacturing company bakedbynoon.com based in Queens, NY. This is Matthew’s debut in an acting role!

GINA MAZZARA-HAVER is thrilled to be a part of this thought-provoking, thrilling reading. Credits in NYC, Off-Broadway, classical music, opera, television and film. Performed at the June Havoc Theatre, Midtown International Theatre Festival (best actress nom), NY Euripides Festival, Manhattan Rep Theatre, Kraine Theatre, St. Luke’s Theatre, Merkin Concert Hall, Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, as well as with numerous theatre companies throughout Long Island. Favorite roles: Masterclass, Groucho – A Life in Revue, The Suppliants, Café Coward, Incredible Stories, Diary of Ann Frank, Sweeney Todd, and Amadeus. TV: numerous shows for the ID channel and the role of Helena Stoeckley in the FX docuseries Wilderness of Error.
