ISMAEL’S CORNER – After David Ortiz Who’s next?

Now that David Ortiz (more about Ortiz) has just gotten elected to the class 2022 Baseball Hall of Fame which Dominican ballplayer is next?

What other Latinos maybe next? There are several, yet, there are causes for debate.

1-Albert Pujois – Number one on my list! His accomplishments on the field and off cannot be ignored. Try ignoring these!

2-Alex Rodriguez – He got caught. Might take awhile. only God knows. Despite putting up good numbers.

3-Manny Ramirez – He deserves to be voted in, yet, he also was in controversy. One of the most feared hitters in the game.

4-Robinson Canó. – Great second baseman, yet, he has gotten caught, twice.

5-Adrian Beltre – Great player. Often underrated, yet, has over 3,000 hits.

6-Tetelo Vargas – Sports Writers have stated he belongs in the BASEBALL HALL OF FAME. An outstanding hitter fast runner, considered the father of Dominican Baseball

7-Horacio Martinez – Before Ozzie Smith, Omar VIzquel (a Venezuelan who, along with other Venezuelan Davey Concepcion, belongs in the HOF), and the latest Derek Jeter who was inducted in 2021. There was Martinez.
