A Robert Greenwald Brave New Worlds Production
E. JEAN CARROLL V. DONALD TRUMP

A powerful documentary bringing to life the brave testimony of writer E. Jean Carroll, who accused former President Donald Trump of sexual abuse. In a landmark legal case, Trump was held liable for sexual abuse and defamation, with a court ordering him to pay $83.3 million in damages.

ACLU Experts Say Trump’s Project 2025 Is a Roadmap to Authoritarian Rule

A Roadmap for a Tyrant: ACLU Experts on Project 2025

The team that developed 2025 consists of over 140 former Trump administration officials, laying out a series of invasive and downright harmful proposals to go after most fundamental rights. Take abortion rights, for example. Project 2025 wouldn’t stop at sweeping abortion bans – already a devastating prospect. Their proposal goes even further, cutting funding to states that don’t report a slew of deeply specific and personal medical details regarding abortion, miscarriage care, pregnancy complications, and reproductive health care in general. That’s a massive invasion of privacy. It is absolutely weird that anyone would want the government having so much information about our personal health. But you know what else it is? Dangerous totalitarianism.

Every proposal in the Project 2025 manifesto has this same, disturbing focus – they want to strip away rights at any cost. That’s why we’re showing up in force to stop Project 2025 now. Our experts have the strategy to win across every civil liberty issue at stake – but we need you with us.

*the WORD considers Trump – because of his extreme racism and hostility to People of Color – an Existential Threat. Too many of his Base are way too comfortable with those MAGA creature features. And too many corporate news media don’t bite the bullet when they write about him being an authoritarian or a tyrant and obviously dodging the racism issues.

Brave New Films Latest: #TrumpCrimeWave

Brave New Films in its latest video release delves into former President Donald Trump’s frequent claims and allegations about crime waves in America’s major cities. The crime waves, of course, don’t exist, though right-wing and extreme right wing news media, insist they do. The Trump administration was marred by a staggering number of criminal activities.

From corruption and fraud to obstruction of justice, Brave New Films explore the numerous legal challenges and scandals that plagued Trump and his inner circle. BNF wants people to discover how Trump’s rhetoric about urban crime deflects from the real wave of criminality that swept through the White House during his tenure – and, yet, reverberates still.

Please Note: WORD Editor-Publisher’s position is that Trump is a racist, sexist, homophobic, miscreant and sociopathThere are way too many, he believes, who are way to nonchalant about his racism, sexism, homophobia and antisocial personality disorder.

About Brave New Films: Robert Greenwald and BNF create free documentary films that inform the public, challenge corporate media, and motivate people to take action on social issues nationwide. Brave New Films’ investigative films have shined a light on the Bush, Obama and Trump administration, voter suppression, U.S. drone strikes, the prosecution of whistleblowers and Walmart’s corporate practices.

BNF’s mission is to champion social justice issues by using a model of media, education, and grassroots volunteer involvement that inspires, empowers, motivates and teaches civic participation and makes a difference.

After Screening Party for BLACK MARKS, Tribeca Fest 2023

2023 Tribeca Festival Special Event Screening first episode of BLACK MARK, sizzling documentary series about 14 year NBA veteran and current media personality, Matt Barnes.

Review in the works.

Reviewed is done from the point of view of a Cornell University Big Red Basketball Hall of Famer (who believes he has a wicked sense of humor) who almost made it through rookie camp of the old NBA Baltimore Bullets; got dis-invited from rookie camp of the Minnesota Pipers ABA team; struggled in what was once the Eastern Basketball League NBA minor league … played one season for the Sporting Club of Portugal basketball team and learned after a !@#$ season as an assistant CU basketball coach … that the Universe was possibly telling me that it was time to say goodbye to basketball and to seek and find another passion in journalism.
